Wally J Mattson began working in the Valley in 1983 with his partner Hi-Tech Fire Protection.  In 1986 he opened Mattson Fire Sprinklers, Inc. and achieved the status of the premier Fire Sprinkler Contractor in the Valley. We estimate 75-85% of the sprinkler work completed in the Valley was performed by Mattson. In March of 2015 Mr. Mattson sold the business to Bill Gooding.
 
Bill Gooding continues to operate the company under the name of Mountain Fire Sprinklers.  Bill Gooding’s background includes over 19 years of fire sprinkler experience from field work to management. He has worked for some of the largest fire sprinkler companies in the world including Grinnell Fire Protection, Firetrol Fire Protection Systems, SimplexGrinnell, and Dorvin D Leis Company.  Mr. Gooding’s experience includes projects in the residential, commercial, government, and military sectors across the United States and Guam.  Luxury construction is Mountain Fire Sprinklers’ specialty and fire sprinkler aesthetics are the goal of all our installations.
